About

From a small rural town of only 450 people, Riley James is an Australian writer, director and editor who has screened his films to local and international audiences alike, being nominated for various awards, and finally receiving that grudging "attaboy" from his grizzled football coach, a hard man who until that very day had always looked on at Riley as a disappointment.

A recent graduate from Australia's acclaimed film school, The Victorian College of the Arts, Riley traveled with his graduating short film 'Pulitzer' across the world. Taking it from several screenings at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne, on to Montreal, Canada, where it was presented in two sold out sessions at the largest genre film festival in North America, The Fantasia Film Festival.
